In depth

Verdict

All of these are looking for a return to form including Rebel Royal, who has slipped back down the handicap since winning at Huntingdon in 2019. Fresno Emery has struggled since placing on good going here in October but MORTENS LEAM finished runner-up at the same fixture. The latter was narrowly beaten off an 8lb higher mark on that occasion and gets the vote with Luca Morgan’s allowance further helping his cause. Bridle Loanan won at Fontwell back in December though that was on soft going.
