In depth

Verdict

Surtee Du Berlais won her first two starts of the campaign and has been quite highly tried since. She is not out of this with Harrison Beswick's claim in her favour while Morning Herald won easily at Ludlow last month and is improving. VIA VOLUPTA is also on an upward curve and wasn't winning out of turn at Wincanton in a strongly-run heat. She clearly possesses plenty of stamina and is less exposed than French import Buche De Noel. Atlanta Ablaze is an interesting one as she makes her debut over timber as she kept good company in bumpers, though was tailed off in Listed company at Sandown last time.
