A competitive renewal with Irish raider Gordon Lord Byron still capable of running a big race at this level and the tough and consistent Sovereign Debt arriving on the back of a Listed win at Leopardstown. But both have to give weight to the less exposed three year old RICHARD PANKHURST, who finally returned to the track at Haydock in September and duly beat a couple of subsequent winners to land a conditions race. There should be more to come from the Gosden colt and he is also preferred to Celestial Path, well beaten at Redcar last month having finished fifth in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket before that. Big Baz is hard to catch right though was at his best when winning a Listed race at Newmarket recently but the remainder are playing catch up on these terms.
