2nd early, chased leaders and pushed along, went 2nd again over 1f out, no chance with winner
last to break, held up in 4th, effort 2f out, pressed for 2nd briefly over 1f out, no impression, eased final 100 yards
made all, raced freely and kept off rail in back straight, quickened clear final 2f, easily
soon chasing winner, ridden over 2f out, lost 2nd over 1f out, one pace
RENAISSANCE ROSE missed an engagement on the soft ground at Newbury a couple of days ago and this looks easier. She only faded in the closing stages at Ascot on her debut having raced up with the pace for most of the way and the Godolphin filly will likely start a warm order for this. Daisy Duke is preferred to Devorgilla on a debut third at Lingfield while Blue Beret is a full sister to a winner on the all-weather and makes more appeal than Saramenha of the newcomers.
