This is a weak race by anybodies standards, so only a small stakes interest in Grezie is advised, with Fun In The Sun, A Teen and Prince Valentine forwarded as others to bear in mind. Prince Valentine crops up with a bold effort at this level intermittently and is rated as a leading contender on the pick of his efforts. Like many of the rest, he would be ignored on the worst of them, though, and is not one to trust implicitly. Neither is A Teen, whose record of 5 wins from 135 previous starts tells its own story about the intervals between his career highs. Still, he arrives here in good heart and, as this is his level, he can go close again if in the mood today. Fun In The Sun won here four days ago and has to be merit consideration. However, he is worse off at the weights today and faces no easy task. Therefore, it can pay to take a chance with Grezie, who has been showing signs of a revival of late. The six-year-old was rated 11lbs higher at this time last year and, as he very little to find to get competitive on these terms, Grezie gets the nod to keep the interest alive.
