Venetia Williams, who lost Golden Goal earlier in the week, relies upon Nordance Prince, who has yet to convince he retains his ability since landing the Victor Chandler Chase two years ago. Hurricane Lamp is a grand sort of horse and goes very well here, but he can always be relied upon for a mistake or two and he won't be able to get away with error's in this.French import Akarus looks to have been given a stiff mark by the Handicapper and will have to be above average to defy his mark, while the likes of Saragann, Arctic Challenge and Another Raleagh look to be up against it in this grade. Northern raider Carrick Troop is worthy of respect as is Master Tern, but a tentative vote goes to Wave Rock, who will find this a little easier than when chasing the likes of Fondmort around Cheltenham.
