      Verdict

Not the easiest of getting out stakes and HARTING HILL would be a deserving winner if victories were allocated on the basis of consistency alone. He must provide a real headache for trainer and jockey alike as he needs all the cards to fall in his favour and it is to be hoped that George Baker's more positive style of riding can work the oracle. Poor Prince ran much better than his finishing position last time out suggests so it would be folly to ignore him from a fair draw. Yes We Can has fewer miles on the clock than most though the Bath winner has been a little below par on two previous visits here. Sunset Kitty ran respectably enough in a maiden against Entitled last time out and is tried in a handicap for the first time. Kalypso King raced in the Cocked Hat Stakes at Goodwood when trained earlier in the year by Richard Hannon and the handicapper believes that he has dropped a full 31lb down the ratings since.
