Division two is no easier to solve for punters than the first division and SALT OF THE EARTH is given the vote to win in on the basis of his recent return to form over a mile at this venue last time out. In the past he has proved expensive to follow but should give those seeking some value a good run for their money, provided he is in the mood. Kensington and Kannon are two that are certainly worthy of a mention and could be two of many to give the selection most to think about. Six furlongs was clearly on the sharp side for Kensington last time and the additional furlong will without doubt be more in his favour while Kannon, who makes his debut for a new yard today, looks a touch high in the weights at the moment. The seven year old Who's Winning struggles to get his head in front these days while Somerset Falls should be suited by the drop back to seven furlongs from nine here. Salt Of The Earth is given the nomination to win it.
