A competitive handicap for punters to solve here and from a shortlist of Good Effect, Shouldntbethere, Generous Lad and Little Richard we will side with GOOD EFFECT. Tactics were changed on Good Effect last time when he was held-up for a late challenge and at one point in the closing stages it seemed an astute move by connections as he weaved a passage between runners. He didn't help his bid for glory by hanging in the closing stages and it will test George Baker's skill of delivering horses late and fast once again here. Shouldntbethere posted a good effort on his penultimate start here but was disappointing last time. Generous Lad seemed to loose all chance he had at the start last time and stepping back up to twelve furlongs will suit. He is 13lb lower than his last winning mark and is an obvious contender while at bigger prices Little Richard who is more effective over further could reward each way punters despite his advancing years. Good Effect is selected to win it.
