      Verdict

BASODA has been quite slow to mature though Kim Bailey's seven-year-old still looks fairly treated off a mark of 108 and if on a going day, he looks to have better chances than most. Sea Cadet could well be asked to front run as is often the case with runners from the Linda Mongan yard and its worth considering that he has gone well when fresh in the past. Similar comments that apply to Qianshan Leader, who won on his reappearance at Bangor last term. Nagam is a previous course-and-distance winner and he will be racing off the same mark this afternoon. Alfie's Sun has chances on some of his old form though he is yet to sparkle this season.
