In depth

Verdict

A competitive maiden in which the race-fit POYLE PUNCH looks the safest option. Placed on both starts at Lingfield, Ralph Beckett's charge can put his experience to good use and come out on top this time. The many dangers include Top Diktat, who was beaten only a head over a mile here in November and Set Me Free, who steps up in trip for his reappearance after finishing third at York back in July. Coin Box has claims on last year's debut at Lingfield, while there is sure to be more to come from Starbound this season. The newcomers Arabian Heights and Circus Master are both worth noting for the future.
