Verdict

MINELLA FORFITNESS won an Irish point-to-point just under a year ago and changed hands for 130,000gns shortly after. A half-brother to Minella Theatre, he'll come into his own over hurdles but should have the speed to take this en route. Uncle Jimmy should improve for his run at Ascot but a bigger danger may be newcomer Soixante Six, who cost £15,000 in the December sales and is the choice of Choc Thornton ahead of stablemate Shady Lane.
