Verdict

Cape Cay has gradually improved and was only headed on the post over 7f at Wolverhampton. She's bred for this trip and should make a bold bid to go one better. Mountainside was narrowly beaten by the 33/1 chance Aabir at Wolverhampton with Vanishing, who runs earlier, just behind. John Gosden tries TEMPUS TEMPORIS (NAP) in first-time blinkers after the Dynaformer colt was the subject of a stewards' enquiry last time when he finished full of running. His rider said he had hung left which is the reason for the blinds and, as he has the scope to go on to better things, he's given the nod. Wally's Wisdom, who was just behind, appears to have little chance of turning the tables.
