This looks a bit stronger than the usual maiden here. Bittern made an encouraging debut at Wolverhampton but was all over the place when sent to Lingfield and can do better. Cartier caught the eye on her debut at Doncaster in August and was well supported at Goodwood a couple of weeks later but disappointed. She's a nicely-bred filly who is expected to put that run behind her. Vanishing belied her big odds at Wolverhampton when narrowly beaten into third but WALDNAH looks the form pick and gets the vote. She may have been taking on a decent performer when just failing to hold Fey over the course and distance and hopefully won't bump into one as good. Charlie Appleby trains that winner and has the well-connected Emirates Holidays engaged while Godolphin are also represented by Zamzama, a full-sister to a Listed winner.
