In depth

Verdict

DAVIDS MARK was below par last time but could bounce back in a race where Convince and Patavium Prince are amongst the leading players. Convince has been in great form of late and has been given every chance by the handicappers to continue that winning run although Mister Incredible only has a length to find on their Southwell running and is the better drawn of the pair. Patavium Prince is also well drawn and should go well but he does struggle to get his head in front on the all-weather and isn't one to rely on for win-only purposes. That comment also applies to Green Lagonda's recent performances so it's probably worth taking a chance with Davids Mark. The experienced veteran was winning for the seventh time when successful in January before going close over course and distance on his penultimate start; he did flop last time but Davids Mark may be able to bounce back.
