Verdict

Zarafshan gained his first victory on his 16th start over this course and distance last month but is up two grades and 3lb higher. Kozier, who was a length-and-a-half behind in third, has since run moderately at Wolverhampton though he's won over the trip on Turf. STARCZEWSKI completed a double when landing a much better race than this at Chelmsford in 2019 before a fair run in the Melrose at York. He didn't reappear until December and could still have needed the run when a beaten favourite back at Chelmsford last month so gets the nod. Chocolate Box has won over the trip and looks on a fair mark but Mukha Magic will be having his third run in a week and didn't run up to his best at Southwell on Sunday. El Borracho was engaged in the 3.45 at Lingfield yesterday.
