Verdict

ALPHA THETA has a couple of facile odds-on victories in novice company at Southwell to her credit. Mark Johnston’s filly will likely face her first real test today but looks worth sticking with now handicapping. The progressive King Of The South is fitted with a visor having gone close in both starts since landing a double over 1m2f here while dual 1m6f winner Autumn War missed out on a hat-trick dropped down to today’s trip at Wolverhampton. Horn Of Plenty won at the same Wolverhampton fixture and is upped a grade along with Kempton runner-up Sweet Celebration with the latter preferred at this level.
