      Verdict

Mark Johnston muddies the waters by running a couple of recent 2m winners in Exemplary and Nezhenka. They're hard to separate here though the latter, who beat Rosewood Lad at Wolverhampton last time, had earlier finished behind runner-up DARK RANGER over C&D. The latter met all sorts of trouble on that occasion when looking an unlucky loser and is taken to make amends here. Bennelong had Magicalmysterytour behind when beaten three lengths over 1m4f on his latest start and makes most appeal of the remainder trying this longer trip for the first time.
