Verdict

DOUBLE KODIAC was sent over to France to make a winning debut at Maisons-Laffitte and has faced a couple of tough tasks since then. He may prove good enough at this level and is preferred to Crackin Dream, who posted a better effort when third over track and trip last time. Stallone and Whelans Way were both well beaten in the same race at Newbury last time and a couple of the newcomers may prove bigger threats. Top Breeze cost £75,000 at the Breeze-Up sales in Ireland while Celtic Manor is a half-brother to a winner representing a top yard.
