Western Aristocrat has failed to improve on his excellent third in the Jersey Stakes at Ascot in June, but a repeat performance here would make him the one to beat. However, SPRING OF FAME makes more appeal. He's been below his best in a couple of starts on turf this season, but there's a strong suspicion he prefers the all-weather as his win at Meydan early this year confirms. He's taken to bounce back here and is preferred to stablemates Enak and Sahara Kingdom. Forjatt has been running well without winning and tries this longer trip for the first time, while veteran Mac Love could make the frame if at his best.
