Another race where caution is advised, due to the little public experience on offer, plus a couple of potentially smart debutants and we will just side with LARKRISE STAR. Chris Catlin again partners the Where Or When filly, who was in the process of building on a nice enough debut when hampered over course and distance last time, eventually being a three length fourth. She would have finished closer had it not been for that mishap and she can put her experience to good use with a win today. Trainers Paul Cole and Barry Hills have comparable records with their two-year-olds this season. The former saddles In The Slips here, and as a half-sister to a juvenile winner over today's trip, she merits respect. Both trainers can get them ready to win on debut and Hills has prepared Sent From Heaven for this contest. She is also related to winners at two, albeit over shorter than this, but the trip should be no real issue and support in the market would make her very interesting. Pollenator looks capable of stepping up on a pleasing Newbury debut, while Expensive Legacy is respected, but Larkrise Star can emerge as head girl.
