    Verdict

The Pug won over 1m2f at Lingfield in first-time blinkers with Dovena back in third while PERFECT GENTLEMAN produced a late flourish to score over a mile here in his handicap debut despite the bit slipping. Breeding suggests there’s more to come from him over this longer trip and he looks worth sticking with. Krona may also improve for this extra test of stamina as she goes handicapping for the first time along with stablemate A Little Respect.
