Today’s distance is an unknown for most of these and Peaceful Passage disappointed over 1m2f last time having finished second in a conditions race earlier. John Gosden also runs the newcomer Kyneton, a half-brother to winners on the all-weather. Cartavio was not beaten that far over 1m2f last time while Alexander M and Salt Whistle Bay ran well over a mile on their latest starts but a chance is taken on TOMORROW MYSTERY, a runner-up at Lingfield last month with Hollie Doyle taking 5lb off her back in this. Henry Croft has to give plenty of weight to the younger horses and Shine Through is another newcomer to note.
