This second division of the maiden is definitely the weaker of the two with this one much harder to call but the verdict goes to the relatively well bred VISITE ROYALE with Alsahil and Global also in with claims. A close relation of Duchess Royale, who was a dual winner over a mile and further, Sir Micahel Stoute's filly can boast an impressive family tree which is should be enough to see her open her account with a win. Alsahil also has some good relatives but isn't as quite closely related to them. Bred with trips further than this in mind it will be interesting to see if this distance will suit but given the lineage expect him to challenge and any market fluctuations in his favour should be noted. There are winners in Richard Hannon's Global¿s family history but not of the class of the previous two we've mentioned. This trip and less seems to be the way to go with this one, who will score in the future but might just find a couple too good here. Pedasus must be respected here after second to Godolphins smart looking Musleh on debut on Lingfeild¿s Polytrack. That one and only run was over seven furlongs where he showed plenty of ability and the experience will hold him in good stead. Raaeidd for Michael Jarvis is another of the few in this contest with a run under his belt where he ran very keenly to post sixth of thirteen at Newmarket on debut. There was enough ability on show from the relation of a Ribblesdale winner and with a more settled performance a placing or better can be expected. For victory though we've gone for Visite Royale.
