LEGEND RISING made no impression in the Norfolk Stakes at Ascot last time but had won a novice event at Chepstow in good style before that. Richard Hannon's colt looks the one to beat on his handicap bow and will likely start a short-price. Lady Frances and Sunset Shore have both come up short in handicaps so far and will do well to trouble the selection, though the former is fancied to come out best of that pair.
