Steel City Boy is an interesting contender in Division One of a tight sprint handicap but as the late nature of his victory last time could mean he's still well-weighted, however, preference is for SHERJAWY, who looks really competitive under his current burden with Equinity given a shout now back in these ranks. With a good strike rate over course and distance the selection only narrowly missed out in a similar race at Lingfield on his last try. He's up a couple of pounds for that but with his a jockey, who has got the best out of him in the past, able to remove five pounds from his back he must have every chance at his favoured track. Steel City Boy needs to be delivered right in the shadow of the post to score and the plan fell into place over this trip at Lingfield last time. He's up three pounds for that but still could be well-treated and a bold bid is expected if he gets the luck in running. Equinity is a twice winner over this trip and easily scored over seven furlongs here when last seen in a handicap. He was well held in a seller last time but should do better now in this company with an extra five pounds to carry from that last handicap run. Premier Lad was a winner over this test in a maiden but looks a little high in the weights while Love You Louis looks better over the minimum trip. A tight race that won't take much winning and with that good course record Sherjawy gets the nod.
