ALEXANDER FAMILY can take this at the principal expense of Deckchair and Imperial Skylight. Despite drifting markedly on his British debut, Ed Vaughan's charge dotted up at Wolverhampton and exhibited a tenacious appetite in the process. A rise of just 4lb doesn't look overly harsh on balance and this well bred filly can continue on the upward curve. Deckchair has been in many notebooks for a while but those followers are racking up the losses and the handicapper has been slow to react. Imperial Skylight has been a friend to the bookmakers with a number of short price failures. His most recent run at Southwell was disappointing but he can be forgiven that effort now he is back on the polytrack. Trusted Venture landed a nursery at Great Leighs off a mark of 56 but found nil when off the bridle at Lingfield. Edgeworth is relatively consistent from a handicapping perspective but is yet to get his head infront. Stuart Williams had a winning gamble earlier in the week so any market support for Itsher must be heeded. Alexander Family looks the most progressive of this bunch and secures our nomination.
