Rated 75, Pure Shores was well beaten in a handicap back in May and returns to action along with HUMBERT. The latter makes a belated seasonal debut having been thereabouts in both starts over 6f last year and has been gelded since. He should stay the trip on breeding and so should Secret Return, placed in a couple of outings over 7f at Wolverhampton. Ignacio Zuloaga posted an improved effort at Southwell last time while Maximinus Thrax and Hail Cloud are preferred of the newcomers.
