Verdict

It could pay to stick with topweight DANCE EMPEROR in this. He was beaten only a length over today’s trip in a handicap at Chelmsford recently and Ed Walker’s yard remains in good form. Boomerang Betty has won a maiden over 6f while Bombshell Bay and Hollywood Dream are among the more exposed and look no nearer winning. Mr Gent and Jeopardy John have bits of form in novice company and make their handicap debuts along with the Gosden-inmate Beautiful Artist though the latter has yet to figure.
