In depth

Verdict

YEAR OF THE DRAGON has switched yards since finishing a creditable third over track and trip on last month’s debut. He should make a bold bid with normal progress. Kawaalees also debuts for new connections having run his best race so far when second at Leicester but Go Oscar Go posted a poor effort last time having shown improvement at Wolverhampton before that. Bonnie Lad showed little at Lingfield on his debut but stablemate Merlin's Beard is related to five winners and may prove best of the newcomers.
