        Verdict

        None of these inspire confidence. But Geraldine, B B Queen and MISS MAYSON may all improve now handicapping for the first time with the latter getting a token vote having finished closer at Wolverhampton last time and Silvestre de Sousa taking over the reins today. Spin Top and At The Beach were both placed earlier in the season but have failed to show any further progress while Lord Cooper was well beaten at Redcar on his handicap bow though still finished ahead of Blastofmagic.
