The penalised Garter was well beaten over a mile in maiden company before coming good over 7f here a week ago with CAPITAL GEARING back in third. But Henry Spiller’s charge re-opposes on much better terms today and may well turn the tables. Bazzat scored by a short-head over today’s trip at Chelmsford recently and can go well again along with Wolverhampton winner Protest, though the latter drops back in distance here. It’s hard to make a case for any of the remainder on their recent poor form.
