Verdict

Wholeofthemoon beat Motazzen over track and trip last month but had earlier finished behind Citizen General at Lingfield. The latter has subsequently finished behind fourth-placed Legendary Day at Newcastle but FIRST EMPEROR (NAP) makes most appeal. John Ryan’s charge struggled at Royal Ascot last time but won over today’s distance at Goodwood in May with Melakaz behind having landed a double on the Polytrack at the start of the year.
