        Verdict

        Gulland Rock just held off the attentions of Light From Mars here a fortnight ago when making all to win by a neck with Picket Line less than a length back in third. Higher Court is usually in the mix without winning and it was the same old story when third at Chelmsford last time while Fire Diamond has looked in the handicapper's grip since landing hat-trick at the turn of the year. PAPOU TONY started handicapping off a much higher mark last season and a 4lb rise may not be enough to prevent another big run having won over a mile here last time.
