Only four run in this one mile race, so out of the limited choice BLYTHE KNIGHT makes the selection. The well-exposed gelding has won at this distance before, but hasn't run a race since November and will appreciate the run out here. The nine-year-old looks best over a mile so is fancied here. King Of Dixie hasn't raced since June of last year, so is another who really needs the run here today. The trip today is a little further than the colt is used to, but he is untested over a mile so how he will fair remains to be seen. A beaten favourite last time out, Can Can Star is the only runner here to have raced this year so that could be to his benefit. He has already taken two victories earlier this year at Lingfield, although they were over longer trip and he tends to take a while to get into stride so today's trip may prove to short for the colt. It's a mix and match affair for this one, but for the winner we return to Blythe Knight.
