Verdict

Clerical was ending a long losing run when scoring in this grade at Wolverhampton a week ago and though he has the beating of My Best Man once again, a penalty may scupper his chances of following-up. The vote instead goes to LITTLE PERISHER whose placed efforts in higher class handicaps entitles him to go close. Thalia Grace posted a better run when fourth at Kempton last time and that form gives her the beating of First Class and Jemimaville, while Do More Business may also figure dropping back down in distance.
