Mangonel bounced back from a disappointing effort at Uttoxeter to score at Folkestone 10 days ago but Jim Best's mare comes up against a similarly progressive type here in JOHNNY OWEN. David Brace's six-year-old has a double penalty to carry after recent wins at Southwell and Hereford but still gets 21lb from his likely market rival and can complete the hat-trick before he's re-assessed, though Esteem's connections may fancy their chances of turning the tables on latest running on 7lb better terms. Anay Turge is one-paced but looks the pick of the remainder.
