Verdict

BRAINS has won twice over a mile here this year including his latest start and, with Angus Villiers’ allowance negating a 6lb penalty, he may well have enough early speed to overcome a high draw and go in again. Garth Rockett bids for a hat-trick raised only 3lb after beating the re-opposing Hit The Beat at Lingfield and both have a shout in this while Mont Kiara also scored at Lingfield last time and is another to consider. Calin's Lad hasn’t raced since the summer but is having only his third outing for Mick Appleby’s yard and is worth a second glance in the betting.
