Verdict

WENTWORTH FALLS proved suited by the drop back to 6f when easily winning a maiden over track and tip. He's worth sticking with on his handicap debut. Vimy Ridge has not been disgraced in better company than this of late and could go close in a first-time visor. He's preferred to stablemate Commander Patten while Exceedingly has scope for further progress having won a maiden race over 5f at Wolverhampton. Brighton winner Lackaday stood little chance in a Listed contest last time and should finish closer today.
