Verdict

INTERACTIVE is selected ahead of Jake The Snake and Northern Desert. Jake The Snake could be popular here as the horse that he and Amy Baker had back in second when winning a course and distance claimer last time has gone on to win two valuable Class 2 handicaps. His supporters will see no reason to desert him and Northern Desert's fans are likely to display similar loyalty. Sean Curran's charge has been in good heart since returning from an absence and has every chance at the weights but it's offputting that his previous four visits to this part of Sunbury on Thames have resulted in heavy defeats. Motivated Choice isn't without claims but we prefer those of Interactive. He has only every finished in the money over six furlongs but is effective enough at this trip as he showed when just two lengths behind Swop in 2007. His recent course win was the first of his career and may well have done wonders for his confidence. There were some fair yardsticks behind last time and we'll take Interactive to account for a couple more here.
