Fable Of Arachne landed a minor handicap at Chelmsford then couldn't cope with a 5lb rise on a return visit when favourite. But she looks to have a decent chance again in this moderate company. Romantic Comedy ran reasonably well in nurseries at Chelmsford and Southwell and can go well but the vote goes to LA MANGA. Jamie Osbourne's filly showed little in maidens but made an encouraging start in handicaps at Wolverhampton on Thursday when staying on nicely to get within two lengths of Inaam despite missing the break. Clive Clifton has generally performed at a higher level and his latest run here should be ignored as he ran very wide around the home turn.
