Most of these are veterans but three have course and distance victories to their credit. Shalambar is a regular winner around here and, though most of his victories have been over 1m4f, he's equally at home over this trip. But he's never won from a mark this high and nor has Guards Chapel, whose victory over the track and trip was gained from 9lb lower though he's been in good form over hurdles. The other course and distance winner, Honourable Knight, is well handicapped but hasn't run since September 2014. Maison Brillet was a couple of lengths behind Shalambar in January but is 4lb better off, though it's one of the younger brigade who can take this with FLIGHTY FILIA fitting the bill. Still a maiden after eight starts, she's improved with every run since stepping up in trip and, though outbattled by Grand Facile last month, can go one better as Ledbury has yet to race beyond 1m4f.
