        Verdict

        Having finished last over 7f on his debut, KYRENIA CASTLE went very close dropped back to the minimum trip here. Today's distance may prove the best compromise and he gets a tentative vote ahead of White Dog. The latter was not beaten far when fourth over 7f last month while Souk Al Tahab and Percella look others likely to improve. Newcomers to note include Qatar Rock, who is related to multiple winner Sylvia Pankhurst and Gold Flash, a half-brother to the useful sprinter Hallelujah among others.
