        Verdict

        The betting suggested STARCASTER would come good over 1m2f at Chepstow last month and he duly obliged. The return to a longer trip should not be a problem for Hughie Morrison’s charge and he’s preferred to recent Chelmsford winner Art Of Swing, who is upped in class today. Saumur has placed over 1m4f the last twice and can figure but Podemos has something to prove back in a handicap after placing in novice company at Wolverhampton. Simoon may prove best of the rest. 5.35
