CHEVISE looks to have decent claims of getting off the mark and can take the measure of Laugh Or Cry and Jonelha. Ralph Beckett resorts to the tongue strap on our pick, who should appreciate the return to a faster surface than when making the frame at Ripon last month. She had previously gone well on good or faster ground and went close to winning an Epsom maiden in July, so a return to that form can see her prevail. Laugh Or Cry ran well enough here on debut and showed improvement last time at Bath, so he would have to be considered and the same applies to Jonelha, who is proven on Lingfield's Polytrack and also going the right way. Mother Jones is a good yardstick but struggling to find that elusive win and Bahri Sheen might show us more now dropped in trip, but Chevise is taken to score.
