        Verdict

        Littledodayno is one to watch closely in the betting, however a return to Kempton should see an improved performance from KAYSTAR RIDGE and he is selected accordingly. Dean Ivory's gelding was disappointing last time out at Wolverhampton where he only beat one rival home. He has a poor strike-rate but his win came at this track and this hold-up performer should go close if getting the gaps late on. Mind Alert and Perlachy, two course and distance winners give Derek Shaw a fair chance of success, whilst Hollow Jo was beaten over a furlong longer here last time and remains of interest back to this trip and still on a fair handicap mark. Namu needs to improve on recent runs, a comment that also applies to Mistress Cooper and Step It Up. A tricky handicap where nothing leaps off the page and so we will take a chance with Kaystar Ridge.
