PREMIO LOCO could have done with a higher draw but is still the one to beat. Bonus should go well again whilst Orchard Supreme and Mahadee are others to consider. Chris Wall's stable star didn't need to be at his best to score on his reappearance but did everything required of him and the run should have put him spot on for this stiffer test. He's unbeaten at Kempton, has won half of his career starts and can add a deserved Listed success to his roll of honour. Bonus isn't the easiest ride but he's a talented individual who has performed to a consistently high level over the years and he could be hard to keep out of the frame but this will be the first time that Chris Catlin has taken the ride. Orchard Supreme was given a good ride to beat Councellor by a head at Wolverhampton but everything worked out quite nicely for him that day and he's less likely to enjoy the run of things in this stronger race. Clive Brittain's horses are running well and it would be no surprise to see Mahadee involved despite having a little to find with one or two of these. His return from a break in January was arguably a career best and he shouldn't be underestimated but it will be disappointing if Premio Loco fails to deliver.
