Verdict

Karl Burke's horses are in top form and Lord Of The Lodge should make a bold bid to continue the run with race conditions in his favour. He's top-rated here and almost ran to that mark when just failing to make all over the trip at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day. EDRAAK is now just 3lb lower after a very convincing victory over 7f here last month and track experience may just swing this his way. Apollo One has a penalty for a Listed success at Lingfield but he's won first-time-back for the last two year's so the lack of a run won't be a problem. Fernando Rah has won three of his eight races though needs to step-up again as does Fivethousandtoone.
