ISOLA ROSSA had been running well all summer so deserved her victory at Lingfield for which a 2lb rise looks manageable. She just holds subsequent winner Angel's Whisper on that run though the latter ran well in a Class 2 handicap at Wolverhampton next time. Totally Charming was bought for 18,500gns after scoring at Wolverhampton in the summer and his new trainer will have him tuned up for this. Espresso Freddo and Giuseppe Cassioli finished 1-2 in a similar handicap here last month with the runner-up likely to get much closer on 4lb better terms.
