Garter won over 7f at Lingfield recently and is only 3lb higher. But MUSIC MAJOR (NAP) went close in a higher grade handicap over a mile here a week ago having won at the track before that when beating Rebel State. He gets another chance in this with Fire Diamond raised 5lb for winning at Newcastle on his latest start. Sexton Blake was not beaten far when fourth over track and trip a fortnight ago having slid down the weights and could also be in the mix.
